Great! I've been able to fit a Shimano 8V cassette on a good old mavic wheel originally designed for campa and gain a few much-needed teeth on the Pyrenean passes. Shifting is OK (campa derailleur + shimano cassette, it works!). We'll have to see how it holds up over time. Be careful not to lose the tiny pawl springs during disassembly!
